With just 7 days to go until the start of Cheltenham it seems fitting that we should take an in-depth look at the numbers surrounding the Festival.
Where better to begin than with the money! Over £600,000,000 is expected to be wagered during the 4 days of racing. When 500 horses will compete for a total prize pool of £3.4 million. When the first race starts the ‘Cheltenham Roar’ will peak at a deafening 130 decibels and 200,000 pints of Guinness will be need to soothe those sore throats.
We could go on… but it’s more fun to check out the awesome infographic designed by Paddy Power for this years Festival.
